NW Colorado Great Outdoors Adventures was created, developed, and driven by Frank Moe, Co-Owner and CEO of Rocky Mountain Renaissance Company LLC. Frank is a veteran hospitality executive, dedicated public servant, and passionate outdoorsman who has spent decades shaping the tourism, economy, and community development of Northwest Colorado.

Frank’s extensive background in the travel industry is anchored by elite, globally recognized designations from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association:

For over 25 years (1997–2022), Frank channeled this expertise into developing, owning, and operating the award-winning Best Western Deer Park Hotel & Suites, establishing a gold standard for hospitality in the region.

Beyond hospitality, Frank possesses an intimate, structural knowledge of the region he serves. His leadership footprint includes:

• Moffat County Tourism Board Member (1990–2010): Spent two decades actively promoting and shaping the regional travel landscape.

• Moffat County Commissioner, District 3 (2015–2019): Served as one of three commissioners managing a $40 million budget. Frank directly oversaw vital county infrastructure through key department heads—including Parks & Recreation, Natural Resources, Emergency Management, the Craig-Moffat Airport, Fairgrounds, and Planning & Zoning.
